Call for Papers and Posters

The submission deadline for oral presentations has passed. There is no deadline for posters submissions; however only posters received by the July 30 deadline will appear in the printed program. Late submissions will be shown in the program addendum.

Submission  Guidelines
Results of new research must remain unpublished prior to the symposium to be eligible for presentation.

• Submit a 300-word abstract, prepared in English
• Complete names of all authors/presenters
• Company/institution for each author/presenter

Submission Preferences

Highest priority given to clinical trials examining the effects of soyfoods, isolated soy protein, or supplements derived from soybeans such as isoflavones on health outcomes.

Epidemiologic studies are encouraged.

In vitro and animal studies are eligible for consideration, but will be given lower priority.

Review presentations and commentaries that address controversial soy-related topics will be considered. These are intended to stimulate discussion and debate and to identify research needs.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are being solicited to address topics including but not limited to the following:

Review

Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific advisory board. Due to a limited amount of time for oral presentations, the scientific advisory board will make every effort to meet the author preference for oral presentations, but may elect to change oral contributions to poster presentations.

Authors will be notified shortly after the due date regarding acceptance and presentation format chosen.

Expenses

Oral Presenters will receive a full complimentary registration to the symposium. Each will be responsible for his/her travel and accommodation expenses.

Poster Presenters are expected to pay the registration fee to attend the symposium. Each will be responsible for his/her travel and accommodation expenses.
